Comhgháirdeas to our local hurling team who had a great win in London recently. Bua iontach eile.
Giotár: A great demand for guitar lessons with múinteoirí Jean agus Caoimhín provides a great foundation for all involved. Sár eileamh agus obair ar siúl.
‘Lá Philippines’ Despite economic cutbacks, Ireland as a nation is always generous to those in dire straits. Following the natural disaster in the Philippines, we wish to help in some small way. Next Friday has been designated ‘Philippine Appeal Day’ where can come to school wearing the national colours of the Philippines (Red and Blue). Pupils, parents and staff can give as they can afford with €2 being the norm. It will raise awareness of those involved in natural disasters and imbue a sense of generosity. Míle buíochas.
Comhairle na nDaltaí: We are pleased to announce that we now have a newly formed Students Council comprising of pupils in the middle and senior classes. Co-ordinated by Eibhlín Ní Chonchúir, múinteoir scoile. Any ideas/opinions regarding ways of improving school life will be given due consideration. A welcome development which is already reaping dividends. School assemblies at break time are now ‘par excellence’ with enthusiasm and incentives to the fore. Go diail ar fad. Comhgháirdeas.
