Fáilte ar ais go 2011. The school community reverts back to routine after snowy conditions and the Christmas Holidays. Many thanks to all who helped to make our Christmas Concert a great success.

Sláinte:
Everyone is advised to maximize personal hygiene, i.e. washing of hands, use of soaps, sterile gel (where available) etc. This should be practised at home as well as at school, to avoid spreading all types of flu virus, moreover swine flu. If your child is sick or has a temperature, do not send them to school, in their own interest and their classmates.

Lón: Ensure that lunch sizes are age appropriate. Avoid all types of junk food.

School Contact Details: You will receive a school contact form during the week which needs to be filled and returned i.e. home address, updated phone numbers of parents/guardians etc. It is important that the entire form is filled in and returned to your class teacher a.s.a.p. Thanking you for your co-operation.

Bainne: Milk this term amounts to €13. This provides milk at a subsidized rate up to Easter which is very little. Milk for your child at school for a week costs less than one fizzy drink and is far more beneficial. Ól Bainne Úr.

Athbhliain fé mhaise.

Coirm Cheoil na Nollag takes place on Dé Máirt 21ú/Tuesday 21st next. We are please to inform you that Christmas Concert 2010 takes place in the school hall next Tuesday. Even though our ‘staff room’ is now located on the stage, a concert involving Naíonain Bheaga, Naíonain Mhóra agus Rang 1 is going ahead, main dramas are supplemented by interval acts from Rang VI, Rang IV, agus Rang II. This is only possible with the co-operation of all the staff, as practice and preparation is underway in the classroom and hall floor, which is not ideal but is feasible due to the willingness and enthusiasm of all concerned. Míle buíochas.
