Tá an
Fómhar buailte linn. Autumn is here in
earnest - darker mornings mean that visibility is of paramount importance for
safety and child safety in particular. A
high visibility bandana or jacket is of great benefit in highlighting
pedestrians.
It may be tempting to cross the road to school at the
‘Grotto’ bend, but instead follow on and cross the road to school using the
excellent services of our school warden Colin.
Instil good road safety skills from and early age.
Luthchleasaíocht: The school
participated in East Cork Schools Cross-County last Friday. Over sixty pupils participated with several
medal winners. Buíochas to all parents
who assisted Ailbhe agus Áine in mobilizing and stewarding our runners. Bhain na páistí lán taitneamh as an lá.
Comhairle
na dTuistí: The parents’ A.G.M. has been re-scheduled for
Dé Máirt/Tuesday 9th October at 8.00pm. A plethora of
school meetings necessitated the change and the new date will facilitate
parents that wish to come along. A new
Parents Council will be elected on the night. Beidh fáilte romhat.
