An Chéad Chomaoine:  Following the Sacrament of Confirmation on April 17^th, na páistí i Rang 11 received An Chéad Chomaoine, in The Church of the Holy Family on Saturday last.  Fine weather enhanced this special day in lives of na páistí, parents, múinteoirí and all concerned.  Thanking all who prepared and participated in the ceremony, páistí, parents, an cór, ceoltóirí, runaí, cuntoirí agus An tAth Micheál Ó Murchú.  Buíochas ar leith dos na múinteoirí a d’ullmhaigh na páistí go snasta, Póilín Ní Ghrifín agus Eoin Ó Siochrú.  Bhí lá iontach againn go léir, Búiochas le Dia.

Animal Kingdom visits the school on Thursday 2^nd May.  An interactive workshop with na páistí should be enjoyable, informative and educational.  Costas €2.

Briseadh na Bealtaine:  This long term of twelve weeks is punctuated by May Break.  School is closed next week.  The school community can enjoy the longer evenings and the prospect of good weather.

Spóirt:  Encourage your child to play games and partake in physical activity.  We are fortunate here in Youghal to have a wide range of sporting organizations i.e. C.L.G, Rugbaí, F.A.I, Pitch and Putt Club, Golf, Badminton, Handball and Tennis Club, but to name a few.  Allied with natural amenities such as our fabulous beach and shoreline, means that you child can get actively involved in many sporting and outdoor activities. 

Your child needs your encouragement to help them to use their leisure time in a productive fashion.
