‘Lá Philippines’ Despite economic cutbacks, Ireland as a nation is always generous to those in dire straits. Following the natural disaster in the Philippines, we wish to help in some small way. Next Friday has been designated ‘Philippine Appeal Day’ where can come to school wearing the national colours of the Philippines (Red and Blue). Pupils, parents and staff can give as they can afford with €2 being the norm. It will raise awareness of those involved in natural disasters and imbue a sense of generosity. Míle buíochas.
